Shooting Creatives have collaborated with Manchester Local Care Organisation to bring you a short film titled ‘Don’t Put Your Life in the Bin’ which aims to raise awareness of the importance of the bowel cancer screening programme. This film has been co developed in response to low bowel cancer screening uptake, specifically in the Black African and Caribbean male population.

Bowel cancer screening is a free test you do at home that checks for signs of bowel cancer,often before symptoms appear. If you’re aged 50 to 74 and registered with a GP, you’ll automatically get a bowel cancer screening home test kit through the post every 2 years.
