Falls Awareness Week 2022 runs from 19th – 25th September 2022.

We have lots of activities and events planned in Manchester to promote awareness of falls and our falls services.

Here is a round-up of the activity we have coming up that week:

• Falls roadshow at Withington Community Library
  Monday 19^th September, 2pm – 4pm
  Come meet the team and talk all things falls prevention
• Promotional event at Wythenshawe Hospital Outpatients dept
  Tuesday 20^th September, 10am – 12pm
  Members of our team will be available to talk falls
• Promotional event at Withington Community Hospital
  Wednesday 21^st September, 10am – 12pm
  Members of our team will be available to talk falls
• Working with Asda Community Champion at Asda Civic Centre, Wythenshawe
  Friday 23^rd September, 10am – 12pm
  Members of the public can drop in to meet the team and talk all things falls prevention!
• Wythenshawe FM interview with our staff highlighting falls awareness week
  Broadcast on Monday 12^th September and Thursday 15^th September on Roz’s lunchtime show.
• Barlow Moor Community Centre’s Health Information Day
  Wednesday 28^th September, 10am – 3pm and supporting buzz Manchester at their Age Friendly event at Wythenshawe Forum 11am – 2pm.
