Jane Syson – Leadership Champion Nominee

Team Lead, Wythenshawe Community Nursing Team – Manchester Local Care Organisation

Jane Syson has been shortlisted in the Leadership Champion category, an award that recognises individuals who have shown exceptional leadership at any level, driving positive change for the benefit of others.

Jane’s leadership has transformed community nursing across Wythenshawe. Through compassion, innovation and a deep commitment to person-centred care, she has empowered her team and improved services for countless patients and families.

Carol Kavanagh – Lifetime Achievement Nominee

Community Response Lead – Manchester Local Care Organisation

We are also incredibly proud to celebrate Carol Kavanagh, who has been shortlisted for the highly respected Lifetime Achievement Award. This honour is reserved for individuals who have dedicated over 20 years of their working life to improving the health and care system – and Carol is a shining example of just that.

With decades of service, Carol has been instrumental in shaping community response services across Manchester. Her dedication, warmth and unwavering advocacy for vulnerable individuals have left an enduring legacy. Carol consistently puts people at the heart of everything she does.
