About the North Community Treatment Rooms Service
The North Manchester Community Treatment Rooms Service specialises in the provision of nursing care to all patients who are not housebound. This includes wound care, stoma and catheter care, injections and removal of sutures and clips. The aim of the service is to deliver high quality care to patients with a North Manchester GP and offer assessment of their needs and devise the most appropriate treatment plans. This is done in collaboration with patients to provide timely and evidence-based care. The team includes Registered General Nurses, a Clinical Support Worker and a Matron.
Who we help
We are a non-emergency service serving people who are 16 years old and above and who are registered with a North Manchester GP. Patients need to be mobile or mobile with help by family or carer and be able to self-transfer onto the examination couch.
How we help
We offer holistic nursing assessment of needs and all treatment plans are discussed with patients and choices offered around care.
