Homeless Families Health Visiting Team
The team works with families who are placed into temporary accommodation in Manchester by the local authority; this includes families placed in women’s aid refuges. This includes families who have been placed in Bridging Hotels as part of the Afghan resettlement scheme.
Our contact hours are 08:30am – 4:00pm
Our aim is to provide intensive support for families at a time of crisis in their lives.
The team works with families who are placed into temporary accommodation in Manchester by the local authority.
The team provides a city-wide service and works as part of a wider multi-agency team alongside designated housing workers and midwives. The team work with homeless families and pregnant women. The team also provides a service to school age children who are not in school.
