Breastfeeding Celebration Day: 15th September – Manchester Art Gallery
To mark World & National Breastfeeding Week, as well as the 5th birthday of our Infant Feeding Team, we're throwing a celebration day!
Date: Friday 15th September, 2023
Time: 10:30am - 2:00pm
Venue: Manchester Art Gallery, Mosley St, Manchester, M2 3JL
The day will consist of activities for parents & babies running throughout, as well as multiple stalls with advice and offers from local organisations.
We are also hoping to display some breastfeeding-themed art and showcase mum’s photographs accompanied by stories of their personal experiences.
The theme for this year’s National Breastfeeding Week is: 'Everyone has a part to play in supporting breastfeeding' and we will be engaging with this theme during the event.
We want to celebrate all things breastfeeding and we hope this will be an opportunity for parents to see all the different places, organisations and people they can get support from with their breastfeeding journey – from the hospital and community infant feeding teams, to breastfeeding charities and other community networks in the area.
